General / Regular Cleaning Services 

General Cleaning

1) Will I need to sign a contract?
No contract is needed to be signed.

2) How much will it cost to clean my home?
It will depend on several factors like size and type of your house, frequency of cleaning required, house condition and estimated duration of cleaning.

3) Are there any minimum hours of service per cleaning session?
No there is none. However, based on your size of your house and the type of cleaning you needed, we will recommend the minimum required cleaning hours.

4) What if I have to cancel?
We require a 48-hour notice for any cancellation.  Without a 48 hour notice we will have to charge for the full cleaning.

5) Will I always have the same cleaning person?
It is possible to have the same cleaner all the time. Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances this isn’t possible. We will update you if there is any change in cleaners.

6) Do we have to be home for the cleaning?
We do recommend that someone should be in the house when the cleaners are there.
But if the situation presents as such that no will be around in the house, that is fine with us.

7) What if I need the cleaner to do extra cleaning for me?
Yes, this can be arranged and there will be an additional charge of S$30 for each cleaner for every hour extension.

8) Are we able to customize the cleaning services or the cleaning package?
Yes, you certainly can. We will try our utmost to help you with your cleaning request.

9) What happens if my items are damaged/lost?
Do inform us at once when a damage happens or items are lost. We will render our assistance and cooperate fully

Regular Cleaning
1) How do we make payment?
You can pay by cash or via secure online transfer. Payment is made at the end of the month when we issue invoice.

2) Do you need to provide cleaning equipment?
We advise the customer to provide the cleaning equipment. However, you are unable to, we will provide the cleaning materials and products.

3) Can I have the same cleaner always?
Yes, you can. However, there are sometimes circumstances that are beyond our control and you may not have the same person.

4) What are the cleaning hours?
9am to 6pm daily (including weekends).

5) Can I customize my cleaning requirements instead of following what is stated?
Yes you definitely can. Do let us know what cleaning requirements you need and we will try our best to work it out for you.

6) Do I have to keep up with the fixed regular day and time of the cleaning sessions?
Preferably yes, but if you need to reschedule do let us know early, so that we can work out the necessary arrangements as our cleaners might be engaged in other cleaning sessions.

House Cleaning Services

Carpet Cleaning
1) How often should I get my carpet cleaned?
Every home is different. There are varies factors to consider when considering how often carpets are to be cleaned. Factors like usage of the carpets in high utilization areas live the living room or stairways might require frequent cleaning plus the number of people in the house and if there are any pets. It is recommended to clean carpets every 12-18 months on average.

2) Can I walk or utilize the carpet after cleaning?
We suggest to minimize the use of the carpet until it is completely dry.

3) Is the carpet damp after steam cleaning?
Yes, there will be some moist after when have cleaned your carpet.  Typical it is between 1 and 2 hours drying time, depending on the home ventilation and airflow, as well as the condition and style of carpet being cleaned.

4) What do I need to do prior to getting my carpets cleaned?
Sweep the carpets clean of dust and dirt. If the carpet is in the rooms, remove all small furniture like chairs or stool, small rugs, book case…etc.

5) Do you move furniture before cleaning?
Remove all the smaller things as possible. If there are larger furniture’s like tables and chairs, cabinets, we will assist to move them to one area far enough to clean it under.  Once the cleaning is completed, we will move them back to the original area.

6) Will you remove stains and spots?
We will try our best to remove all the stains and pots but it might not be 100%. Due to the type of stain and the staining material.

7) How long will my carpets take to dry?
Drying of carpets will vary type of carpet and type of cleaning process used.   Ceiling fans, or box fans can really speed the drying process.

After Party Cleaning
1) What are the cleaning services offered?
Clear and dispose of rubbish

2) What if I require additional services other than those that are mentioned?
Yes, this can be arranged, there will be additional charges that will depend on cleaning required.

3) How long will it take to clean the party area?
It will depend on the size of the area and the amount of cleaning to do.

4) Are you available within a short period of time?  
Contact us in advance. We will pre-arrange for our cleaners to be ready at the scheduled date and time to come over for the cleaning.

Tile and Grout Cleaning
1) Why should I get tile & grout professionally cleaned?
Cleaning regularly only removes surface dirt and dust. There will be soli and dirt embedded in the tiles that would cause the grout to be unattractive and looking worn out. Get professional cleaning to restore the tiles and grout look plus extending its life.

2) How long does it take to get the tile & grout at my home professionally cleaned?
Depending on the size of the floor area and how ingrained are the tiles with soil and dirt. It could take anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes or more.

3) What can be done for those grouts with cracks?
We would first wipe the tiles clean, using a sealants (safe for people) to seal them up. Grout sealing itself takes two to three hours. Time varies based on tile size, the amount of soil in the grout and room configuration. If grout sealing is chosen, there will be a waiting time of 24 hours after rising and applying the sealer.

4) Can I use household cleaning products on my tile & grout surfaces?
Yes, you can. Choose those cleaning agents that environmentally friendly or neutral cleaning agent.

5) How often do I need to get my tile & grout professionally cleaned?
We advise yearly professionally cleaning for keeping them looking their best.

6) Will there be a smell or odour after the cleaning?
Yes, there might be. There will be a faint scent after the cleaning. The amount of time it takes for the odour to dissipate is usually within an hour or more depending on air circulation, heat and humidity

Home Window Cleaning
1) Do you clean interior and exterior of the window?
Our window cleaning includes interior and exterior surfaces.

2) What is the cost of the window cleaning?
We will assess your requirements based on number of windows, the condition of the windows and the difficulty in cleaning the windows plus is there any special care or supplies that we might need. We will provide you the quote once we have completed our assessment.

3) Do you move furniture, appliance or remove blinds etc..
We would advise our customers to move furniture, appliance or remove blinds before we start our cleaning.But if you want us to move, there will be additional charges.

4) What type of window cleaning do you do?
We provide normal cleaning, which we will use window cleaners to wipe and clean the windows.  Deep cleaning involves using involves scrubbing first followed by scraping of the windows.  We will clean the window edges and frames wiping away dirt and soils.

5) How long will it take to clean the windows?
It will depend on the size of the house and the number and condition of the windows. We will do an assessment and advise you accordingly.

Oven Cleaning Questions
1) How often should I get my Ovens cleaned?
This varies depending on the oven usage as well what it is used for.

2) How long does your professional deep clean take?
This will vary on the type and size of your oven, plus level of cleaning needed. A general guide would be about 1½ to 2 hours to clean an oven. Larger ovens may take longer.

3) Is CleaningEdeg services oven cleaning service suitable all types of ovens?
Our Oven cleaning service is suitable for everyone. Whether you have a single oven or a range of appliance no matter what type, we will clean it for you.

4) How soon can I use my oven after your professional deep clean?
Depending on the type and make of the oven, anywhere from immediately to 1-2 hours.

5) Do you supply the Oven cleaning products?
We do provide oven cleaning tools and solutions. However, for some selected brands it is recommended to use the same brand name cleaning solutions.  If this is the case, we would use your solution if they have or purchase the brand name ones ourselves.

5) Will I always have the same cleaning person?
It is possible to have the same cleaner all the time. Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances this isn’t possible. We will update you if there is any change in cleaners.

Bathroom Cleaning
1) Do we need to supply cleaning agents and equipment?
Yes, it would be better that we use your cleaning agents if you have them. But if you don’t we will bring our own.

2) How long does it take to clean the bathroom? 
Normally, it would take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the size and condition of the bathroom. We would do an assessment before letting you know the duration.

Upholstery Cleaning
1) Why should I get upholstered cleaned?
You can use basic cleaning agents to clean upholstery regularly.  But to remove and clean hard to clean dirt and stains plus removing smells you need upholstery to be cleaned professionally.

2) How long does it take to get my upholstered cleaned?
This will depend on the condition of the upholstery, the type of cleaning process that would be needed plus the drying time. We will advise you once we have assessed your upholstery.

3) Is professional upholstery cleaning expensive?
Our cost is reasonable and affordable. Call us to find out more.

4) How often do I need to get my upholstered furniture professionally cleaned?
Industry recommendation is between every 12 to 24 months.

5) When will I be able to use my furniture after a professional cleaning?
This varies depending on the upholstery condition and the cleaning method used, drying time will vary. And it could be anywhere from 3 to 8 hours.

6) Will there be an odor?
Yes, there might be. There will be a faint scent after the cleaning. The amount of time it takes for the odor to dissipate is usually within an hour or more depending on air circulation, heat and humidity.

Kitchen Cleaning
1) How often should a kitchen cleaning be done? 
Grease and dirt accumulate over time especially in the hard to reach places. It is recommended to professionally clean or deep clean a kitchen regularly. We recommend to deep clean a kitchen annually.

2) Why is it necessary to deep clean? 
To maintain kitchen hygiene a deep clean is required.

3) How long does it take to professionally clean or deep clean a kitchen? 
Cleaning times will be based on the size and condition of the kitchen.

4) What does deep kitchen cleaning service include?
Deep kitchen cleaning includes all of the regular kitchen cleaning services plus, degreasing stoves, cookers and hard to reach areas, If there are additional cleaning services needed, we will the request and update you accordingly.

5) How much does it cost?
We will do an assessment based on the size and condition of the kitchen and advise you accordingly on the cost.Our cost are affordable and we do not compromise on quality.

House Moving / Tenancy Servics

Moving In Cleaning

1) What if I need additional cleaning services? 
Just let us know before hand or during the cleaning, we will assess and advise you accordingly. Additional charges will be incurred.

2) Are we able to customise the cleaning services or the cleaning package? 
Yes you certainly can. We will try our utmost to help you with your cleaning request.

3) Will the cleaners help to in shifting or moving appliances and furniture’s
We advise the customer to move the appliance or furniture prior to our cleaner’s arrival. Our cleaners won’t be moving or shifting them.

4) What are the services included in the moving in cleaning service?

End Of Tenancy
1) I am moving out and when would be the best time to clean the property?
We suggest to do the cleaning once you have moved out. Schedule an appointment with us.

2) What are the cleaning areas covers?

3) Should there be someone in the property when you are doing the cleaning?
Not necessary but if you or want someone to be there, your welcome to be there.

5) Do you provide an invoice or receipt to show the property have been cleaned?
Yes we do. We will provide the receipt or invoice after the cleaning have been completed.
